The parliamentary reception, which took place at the Terrace Pavilion in the Houses of Parliament on Wednesday 14th March, was hosted by client EDF Energy and celebrated the work of the businesses that make up the integral Hinkley Point C supply chain.

Attendees at the event included senior EDF representatives, as well as policy makers from Government and Parliament, who were offered the opportunity to engage with the key suppliers for the project. Noted attendees included Simone Rossi, EDF Energy CEO, and Ian Liddell-Grainger MP, the local MP for Hinkley Point C.

As preferred bidder for the main electrical works, this was a great opportunity for the Balfour Beatty Bailey team to showcase their sector skills and expertise, and the significant part they play within the supply chain, as well as promote the collaborative approach they offer to infrastructure and development projects.
